Rachel has been a physical therapist since 1996 and has been working at SMH since
2008. She specializes in chronic pain management and orthopedics throughout the age
span. She is certified in functional dry needling and in therapeutic pain management.
She enjoys the variety of patient conditions she gets to treat while working at SMH. She is
married to Phil Howard, and they have four children: Wyatt (26), Ian (23), Conner (20)
and Tessa (18). She is active in St. Joseph’s parish as a CCD teacher, cantor and lector,
and serves on the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana. Her favorite hobbies
include working in her yard and garden, camping, going to the gym and riding horses.
