Biography:
Leana completed her Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has been an OT for over 15 years and initiated her practice in Phoenix, AZ at Barrow Neurological Institute, specializing in Neuro Rehab. Her next adventure took her to Seattle, WA and Swedish Hospital where she treated patients with orthopedic injuries, general medical conditions and cardiac rehab patients.
Leana is a certified LSVT BIG therapist and enjoys working with individuals that have Parkinson’s Disease and neurological conditions. She also has expanded her scope of practice to include children with a wide variety of diagnoses focusing on improving fine motor skills, visual motor integration, and sensory processing abilities to enable children to participate in school, play, and all other life skills. The goal is to help children achieve their full potential and enhance their overall well-being. She loves working in a small community and the opportunity to provide services in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient and the school setting.
Leana’s passion includes any physical activity outdoors, but she especially loves running, hiking, and spending time with her husband.
