Meet your Provider:
Growing up and working in rural Wyoming, I developed a deep appreciation for the unique needs and strengths of rural communities. Having firsthand experience as a rancher and working alongside farmers and ranchers, I recognized the importance of having healthcare providers who understand the rural way of life and the challenges that can come with accessing care. This inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare and bring that understanding to patients at the provider level.
I’m passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare to rural and frontier communities. After earning a Family Nurse Practitioner degree, I recognized the need for additional expertise in caring for complex patients and pursued a second specialty as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Over the past several years, I’ve gained valuable experience in high-acuity critical care settings and am excited to bring that advanced knowledge and skillset back to the community.
With a holistic approach to patient care, I believe in building strong partnerships through open communication and shared decision-making. By combining evidence-based medicine with each patient’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances, I help patients navigate the healthcare system and make informed decisions that support their long-term health and well-being.
One of the most rewarding aspects of rural healthcare for me is the opportunity to care for a diverse range of people and medical conditions while learning from the stories, experiences, and history that patients and colleagues share. Returning to a rural healthcare setting has always been the goal, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve the community while raising a family and becoming an active part of local life.
Outside of work, I enjoy the simple things that brighten the day, including a good laugh, great music, a book recommendation, meaningful conversations, and the occasional surprise coffee or tea.
