Sheridan Health Care Foundation Tourney

It's a tradition of Sheridan Health Care Foundation to host their Annual Charitable Golf Tournament, and the tradition is well and alive again this year!

With COVID 19 guidelines and anticipation of Phase 3 of Governor Bullock's opening of Montana our staff and board opted to continue our tradition and host our 23rd Annual Foundation Tourney.

The tournament will be run a bit differently this year to accommodate social distancing and the Governor's and Plentywood Golf Course guidelines.

TWENTY-THREE YEARS of fundraising fun with our charity golf tournament! This year's Foundation's four person scramble begins with SOCIAL DISTANCING! We are lucky to be allowed to host this golf tournament and have worked with the golf course to stay in line with state regulations.

SPACE IS LIMITED! CALL 765.3709 to see if space is available! For those already registered, please pay for your team as soon as possible at Go to Quick Links, click Foundation Tourney. From there you will be redirected to the Tourney page where you can learn more information and register and pay for your team online. OR mail a check to SHCF at 440 West Laurel Avenue, Plentywood, MT 59254

ALL TEAM registration must be completed and paid for prior to Friday, July 10th online at, over the phone at 406-765-3709 or via mail: 440 W. Laurel Ave. Plentywood, MT 59254. To prevent a morning gathering in the Tee Box Tavern, registration packets will be pre-stuffed with your name on them. In the bag will include donated items as well as the "ALL IN" Grand Slam tickets for those who have pre-purchased them. These packets will be placed in the golf carts OR delivered to you outside. When bringing up your cart please be sure you distance yourself 6 feet or more from other carts.

Juice and a pre-packaged muffin will be placed in your registration packet.

Lunch will be Sloppy Nachos served as you come by the Tee Box Tavern in hopes to keep the congregating of people under 10 at a time. Once you've finished lunch, please continue on golfing. If another team comes in to the Club House, please practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.

With being a medical facility and us trying our best in flattening the curve of COVID 19, we cannot in good conscience host an after tourney meal and feel that social distancing and other regulations can properly be met and regulated with 120 people. We understand this isn't the norm, but we aren't working under normal circumstances. Instead, each golfer will receive, in their registration packet, a $15.00 gift certificate to a local eatery.

Only those who purchased the ALL IN for $125.00 will be able to participate in the course games--in addition they will have 50/50 and raffle tickets. All of these will be done on the course the FRONT NINE ONLY.
Those who paid $75.00 registration will only qualify for the 4 hole prizes (longest putt, drive, closest to the pin and chip).
Longest putt, drive, closest to the pin and closest chip will also be the FRONT NINE ONLY. So, make it count!

All winners will be announced on the BACK NINE--your name and/or prize will be available for pickup on the corresponding hole. If the prize is larger, we will have it up at the Pro Shop for you to pick up after turning in your score cards.

When you are done golfing we ask that you sign and have your score card attested by the opposite team and ONE person return BOTH cards to the Pro-Shop for tallying. You do not need to stick around for the tallying/announcing as when the score cards are turned in will mark the official end of the tourney. Tournament and Calcutta winners will be tallied after the tournament. Winners will be notified as well as posted on Facebook and the Board at the Golf Course.
If you do stick around to wait for announcement, please keep SOCIAL DISTANCING in mind and follow Plentywood Municipal Golf Course rules and regulations.

Sheridan Health Care Foundation Board and staff know that this isn't an ideal set up for a golf tournament; however, in order to even have such an event and practice "social distancing", some adjustments needed to be made. We are aware that the timing and circumstances are not ideal for a fundraiser; however decided to continue with the tradition even if the tournament is a bit scaled back. We are so grateful to our donors and participants past and present who have supported the Foundation Tourney throughout the years.
