Sheridan Memorial Hospital is a tobacco and smoke-free facility.  Use of tobacco is not allowed anywhere in or on facility grounds.  This includes parking lots, side walks and rental properties.  Please extinguish cigarettes appropriately in the Smokers Outposts located around the perimeter of campus grounds. 

Sheridan Memorial Activities Department has a monthly schedule of events for Swing Bed patients.  Swing Bed patients are welcome to participate in any and all events provided by the Activities department.

Visiting hours for all patient's families are 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, unless extenuating circumstances exist.

The Hospital Waiting Area is located right as you enter the Hospital entrance, across from the Nurses Station.  This area provides visitors with reading materials, courtesy phone and television.

At the patient's request Sheridan Memorial Hospital will contact any clergy member needed during their stay.  Clergy of all faiths are encouraged to visit members of their congregation if the patient requests it. Pastoral staff are available on a regular basis.  They offer support and comfort to families of the ill and Hospice patients.  If you want to speak to a member of the Pastoral staff, please ask the Nursing staff to contact them.

Sheridan Memorial Chapel - The chapel is open 24 hours a day.  It is located just down the hall from the Hospital Nurses Desk.  For additional information or chapel accommodations, please contact the Hospital staff at the desk.

A snack and soda machine are located in the Dining Area of the facility. Additional soda machines are located in the Hospital Vestibule.  Water coolers are located throughout the facility.

Sheridan Memorial staff can arrange for visitors to receive hot menu items for $6.00 per guest.  The hot menu includes a choice of two main dishes, salad, dessert and choice of beverage.  Chef Salads and Cottage Cheese Plates are available as well.

The Welcome Gift Shop is staffed by our caring volunteers. All proceeds from the gift shop benefit our patients, visitors and staff.  It is located just down the hall from the Hospital Nurses Station.  The gift shop is open Monday through Friday 1:30 to 4:00, hours are subject to change. Our volunteer Pink Ladies from the Sheridan Memorial Auxiliary are around to brighten your day.  Each afternoon these volunteers will be found in their pink garb providing our patients with juice, coffee and magazines.

Three Sheridan Memorial Business Office staff are Notary's.  Notary Public are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  At the patient's request a Notary will come to your room to Notarize documents needed.  Identification of all parties involved must be provided; notarizing of a document will be refused if a parties identity is not clearly established with identification. Call (406) 765.3701 and ask for a Notary.  This service is free to our patients.
