Radiology has recently purchased a Lorad IV Platinum Mammography
Unit. This unit is teamed up with a Fuji Computed Radiography
(FCRm) System, one of the most utilized technologies for full field
digital mammography.
Full field digital
mammography uses advanced image processing. The multi-objective
frequency processing and pattern enhancement are examples of helpful
aids in dramatically reducing interpreting the limited contrast and
narrow exposure latitude of mammography.
All women can be examined with FCRm. The images are easily stored on Pac's systems for retrieval. Come visit Sheridan Memorial Radiology with 2 certified Mammography Techs on staff. This facility is ACR accredited for Digital Mammography. One ARDMS Sonographer on Staff
