Mobile MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is provided by MonDak Imaging Service, LLC, Miles City, Montana.  MRI is a non-invasive diagnostic technique, reating images of the body by using magnets and pulses of radio waves to manipulate the natural magnetic properties of the body.  The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes with the 1.5 Tesla Magnet.  MRI is useful in the imaging of brain, spine, soft tissue joints and interior structures of bones.  A Registered Radiologic Technologist will be doing your exam. The mobile MRI unit comes to Sheridan Memorial Hospital every other Tuesday afternoon.
